SDRAM is an improvement on the standard DRAM as it retrieves data alternately between two sets of memory.

Called "Synchronous" DRAM because the memory is synchronised with the clock speed that a computer's bus speed is optimised for.

Runs at transfer speeds of 133MHz to 200MHz.

DDR SDRAM module to transfer data at double the speed of SDRAM in the same duration, hence the term DDR (Double Data Rate).

Has enhanced capabilities coupled with low power consumption.

The PC1600 DDR provides a 1.6GB per second throughput of data.
(We are currently manufacturing memory modules ranging from the PC1600 DDR to the PC3200 400MHz DDR, which produces up to 3.2GB per second of bandwidth)

Technical specifications and functionality of the DDR SoDIMM is identical to that of the DDR DIMM.

DDR SoDIMM is smaller in size and form factor to conform to the size and height requirements of laptops.

The DDR2 DIMM enables better electrical performance and speed, in relation to the DDR DIMM and DDR SoDIMM.

Work on 4-bits of data per clock cycle, as compared to the DDR DIMM which works on 2-bits of data per clock cycle.
